Physical Activation by Israel Aloni at the 17th International Deleuze & Guattari Studies Camp and Conference
Israel Aloni, offered a physical activation, as part of the “ 17th International Deleuze & Guattari Studies Conference with the theme Pedagogies of Philosophy: Nonsense, and…and…and joy” at Konstfack in Stockholm on June 18. In this session Aloni shared some concepts and movement explorations which they have been developing in their practice The I.Aloni Experience.
The I.Aloni Experience is a movement research practice, developed in processes and dialogue with many dancers and artists over two decades and see the body as an experience of being in the world. It is precisely through the collective that a body can appear, as an assemblage.
In this 45 minute session, Aloni offered a guided movement practice which is dedicated to nuances of attentiveness to the process of becoming body. After, participants engaged in a conversation about the correlation between the theory and the practice of becoming body.
