Book Launch: MILON QUIS - Words for Dance

In March 2026, Circadian and About Bookshop, hosted the book launch of MILON QUIS – Words for Dance by Israel Aloni in Berlin. The evening featured a reading from the segments of the book by Israel, a gentle movement which activates concepts from MILON QUIS, and an engaging public conversation moderated by Diego Agulló.

MILON QUIS – Words for Dance is a book that approaches dance sideways: as a lexicon, a field of provocations, a choreography of language attempting to touch what always escapes capture.

MILON QUIS - Words for Dance, is part of Israel’s movement research and corporeal art-making practice which is grounded in the body’s intimate dialogue with language and perception. This book serves as a dictionary for the language, terminology and concepts of The I.Aloni Experience, which Aloni has been developing in the past two decades.

MILON QUIS - Words for Dance, is designed for artists, movers, researchers, and those who sense that reality is not received but made, this lexicon invites a form of active noticing—where the body becomes a site of world-making, and practice becomes a way of constructing meaning. A methodology in flux, both rigorous and fluid, for training, exploration, and creation.

In this book Aloni collaborated with artist, editor and publisher Diego Agulló. The book is published by CIRCADIAN. To order click here.
