Research Process for Making Sense

This July, ilDance’s Associate Director Lee Bummer led the first development of a new work titled Making Sense, created in collaboration with performers Jennifer Wallen and Anoushka Jago. Together, they explored different forms and processes of grief, crafting a work that invites both performers and audiences to connect deeply with courage and vulnerability.

The residency, hosted at Balettakademien Stockholm, culminated in an intimate sharing that was met with warmth and enthusiasm. A rich dialogue and Q&A with the audience followed, where personal reflections were exchanged, insights that will directly shape the next phase of this evolving work. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us, shared openly, and became such an important part of this process.
