Dancing Histor(y)ies: Viminacium Performance

As in the previous year, our time in Viminacium concluded with a final performance that marked the closing of the festival. This year’s piece unfolded in the beautiful setting of Limes Park, following a day of shared preparation that began with a collective movement class and gradually built toward the evening performance.

Local performers and professional dancers collaborated closely throughout the process, fostering a strong sense of connection and shared purpose. The result on stage was both moving and powerful. During a brief reflection afterward, many local participants expressed the pride and meaning they felt in being part of the work.

Throughout the festival, Viminacium transformed into a space where dance, history, and creativity came together. The contributions of all Artistic Partners added inspiring depth and diversity to this truly unique experience.
